&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;Just reported on CNN &lt;strong&gt;Google&lt;/strong&gt; is Jumping into the &lt;strong&gt;Social Media&lt;/strong&gt; Waters!&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;&lt;strong&gt;Google&lt;/strong&gt; is expected to plunge into the world of &lt;strong&gt;Facebook and Twitter&lt;/strong&gt;, using its popular &lt;strong&gt;Gmail &lt;/strong&gt;service to allow users to post status updates and items.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;The &lt;strong&gt;search-engine&lt;/strong&gt; giant, which recently tweaked its search function to allow easier access to &lt;strong&gt;social media&lt;/strong&gt; results, has planned an event for Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET at its California headquarters.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;That comes a day after the Wall Street Journal quoted &lt;strong&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;&amp;quot;people familiar with the matter&amp;quot;&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/strong&gt; saying the feature would allow &lt;strong&gt;Facebook-style status updates&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;strong&gt;as well as pinging&lt;/strong&gt; when users post something to affiliated sites like &lt;strong&gt;YouTube or Picasa.&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;If it appears as described, it would be a sort of &lt;strong&gt;anti-Twitter&lt;/strong&gt;, making a user's updates private by default, as opposed to open, as they are on the &lt;strong&gt;micro-blogging&lt;/strong&gt; site.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;The hands-down leader in the &lt;strong&gt;search engine&lt;/strong&gt; world, &lt;strong&gt;Google&lt;/strong&gt; has been branching out on projects that include its Nexus One smartphone -- the company's first foray into hardware marketing.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;Late last month, &lt;strong&gt;Google&lt;/strong&gt; announced that people could tweak their accounts to make results related to friends, co-workers and other members of their &lt;strong&gt;social networks&lt;/strong&gt; appear above all other results.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;The &lt;strong&gt;Social Search&lt;/strong&gt; feature was introduced to a limited number of &lt;strong&gt;Google&lt;/strong&gt; users last year and was made available to everyone in beta status on January 28.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;The change came with a hint of more things to come.&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;font&amp;gt;&amp;quot;This is just a first step in our ongoing effort to ensure that &lt;strong&gt;Google Web search&lt;/strong&gt; is always as &lt;strong&gt;social &lt;/strong&gt;as the Web itself,&amp;quot; the company said in an instructional video posted to its official blog. &amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Respect is at the heart of building business relationships. It is the glue that holds together &lt;br /&gt;
the functioning of teams, partnerships and managing relationships. &lt;br /&gt;
(Up and down, peer to peer, internally and externally). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Respecting the right to differ is a concept like apple pie and motherhood. We all agree with &lt;br /&gt;
it but can we truly foster it? &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The first step is to identify the specific areas of difference. Many people see things in terms &lt;br /&gt;
of right and wrong. &lt;B&gt;My way&lt;/B&gt; is right and therefore &lt;B&gt;other ways&lt;/B&gt; are wrong. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
When a situation is viewed this way, a power struggle ensues. When, however, a situation can&lt;br /&gt;
be seen through the lens of difference, and a position is simply a matter of opinion not fact, &lt;br /&gt;
then cooperation and compromise is possible. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Identifying and understanding differences allows people to shift their position to one of compromise and negotiation.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The following steps are the roadmap to success:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
1)  Respect leads to accepting a person for what he/she is &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
2)  Accepting a person where they are, creates an environment of trust&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
3)  Trust, leads to a willingness to be open to:&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
		a) New Opportunities &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
		b) New Collaborations &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
		c) New Strategies &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
		d) New Ideas &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
		e) New Products. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Once you understand the above you can use the following list to avoid power struggles, which drain energy from your effectiveness. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The following is a list of six types of differences to look for:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
1. &lt;B&gt;Communication Styles&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
All people do not communicate in the same fashion. There are many inventories available to identify differing styles. Once you understand a person's style, this knowledge can lead to respect not conflict &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
2. &lt;B&gt;Non-Verbal Communication&lt;/B&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
All forms of communication must be considered. This form of communication is more covert, but not any less important. Non-verbal communication includes; body language, and tone. Non verbal communication may differ from the verbal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
With this additional understanding of what is really being communicated more effective collaboration is possible. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;B&gt;3. Learning Styles&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
People learn in different ways. When this concept is in the forefront of understanding then communications can be geared to various styles and will meet with greater success. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
4. &lt;B&gt;Differing Values&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
This concept can be a little tricky. While values need to be identified and respected, there are times when conflicting values can be so different that they cannot coexist on the same team. When mutually exclusive values are encountered, collaboration is not recommended.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
5. &lt;B&gt;Boundaries&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
We all have different space needs and boundary needs. (Boundaries are the limits you place &lt;br /&gt;
on the behavior of others around you.) The first step is to be aware of peoples' boundaries and then to use this understanding to approach them respectfully. This new behavior often avoids conflict and strengthens relationships. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
6. &lt;B&gt;Self Respect&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Self respect is a vital and primary building block that supports the formation of relationships. &lt;br /&gt;
By being aware of your own needs and styles you create a healthy foundation and the ensuing relationships are more solid. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The real-time Web is here. Google has officially jumped into real-time search, taking full advantage of its recent partnerships and changing the face of search engine optimization. Conduct a search on Google and you might now see a sizable part of the page dedicated to real-time search. This is a scrolling, live update of content from across the Web about your query and one of the most significant public-facing changes Google has made in a long time. It's also one of the biggest changes to SEO (as it applies to Google) in recent history as reported by Website Magazine.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The real-time updates - or Latest results - take up a significant portion of screen space. After the sponosored listings at the top of the page, then the top organic result comes the real-time updates. In some cases, the box is also very close to the fold. In short, as it stands today, your company's organic listings might have already changed dramatically. While the total number of results does not seem to have changed, you might have dropped below the fold. That means checking your search positions immediately, and getting to work on improving them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Below is a Google results page for Obama health care. The first result is the top result, then you will see the real-time results. The bottom result after the real-time box is just above the fold. This is a hot topic, so keep in mind that not all queries will produce real-time results, or results will be ordered differenlty. For example, a search for zhu zhu (a popular toy this holiday season) shows real-time results, but at the very bottom of the page. Also impacting the position of real-time results and normal organic listings will be the number of paid search results.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Those companies are now partners, waist-deep in the Google mix; and that's where many of the real-time results are coming from. In short, if you're not on some or all of these networks, its time to get started. And you must go beyond just making a profile. These real-time results will take into account your social graph - the connections you make and your authority in the space, as well as the content you provide on these networks. We're talking quality here. Businesses must provide value to their social connections. For example, if you tweet an important piece of information and it gets re-tweeted by your followers, you can bet Google will take notice. Google will be examining accounts' social stock and including those in the updates - on the first page of Google. You will also notice that real-time results are not limited to social networks, but include blogs and other websites. Content creation and optimization (creative copy, keyword-friendliness, etc.) becomes a mission-critical business objective.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It will also be interesting to see if these new partner networks get flooded with content noise, once publishers realize the opportunity. It's quite possible the personal space users feel they have within networks like Facebook will be come serious spam magnets.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

your prospects could have. You've created a sales page. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
You even offered a discount and threw in a lot of bonuses.  So why aren't they buying?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Despite what all the &amp;quot;instant experts&amp;quot; may tell you about how you can generate millions &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
of dollars of sales simply by purchasing their program and doing this and that, the reality is there's a &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Is there a group of people who believe they have a need or want which you can fulfill?&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Notice the language. . . I did not ask if YOU THINK there's a need. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
What you think is irrelevant unless you plan on purchasing your own products.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;H3&amp;gt;2.    Do they know, like, and trust you?&amp;lt;/H3&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Have you built a relationship with the people you are asking to purchase your products&lt;BR&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
and services or do you fly in, offer to sell something and then disappear until the next offer?&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Many experts say you should share the &amp;quot;what&amp;quot; and the &amp;quot;why&amp;quot;, but not the &amp;quot;how&amp;quot; &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
until your prospect purchases something.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
I disagree in that it's not authentic to me to do that. If you've been on any of my &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
calls, you know I believe in giving a lot of content - that makes me special from &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
other coaches.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
I'm a teacher at heart.  What makes YOU special in your industry?&lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
If your prospects aren't buying from you, you're missing at least one of the above three critical &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
components of a successful and profitable client/vendor relationship.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Always remember, in designing your business, regardless of your industry, you have to be &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
constantly aware of what your clients and prospects are searching for even as you build a &lt;BR&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
business to suit your lifestyle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;H3&amp;gt;Your  Challenge&amp;lt;/H3&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
